Biggles and Snoes were cold.
At the risk of you calling the Dierenbescherming or RSPCA or whatever Animal Rights organisation, I have to tell you that I like the Bigglesballs. And so does he, because he displays them proudly every chance he gets. I like them because they dangle so happily between his legs when he walks in front of me, 'dingle dangle dingle dangle'. It's all very innocent, let me assure you. It's just a happy sight.
It is not that strange that I like the Bigglesballs actually. The famous Dutch biologist/writer Midas Dekkers, once wrote: 'Male tigers have the most beautiful balls of all animals. They seem so very soft, full of woolly hair. Zoovisitors often watch them eagerly. It must be a delightful experience to wiggle your head between those warm soft pumpkins.'
Well, I wouldn't go that far with the Bigglesballs. They are not thát attractive to me. Maybe they are just too shiny?

ReplyDeleteOMG, you made me spit out water on my computer screen. It took me a minute to figure out if I was losing something in translation and maybe you were referring to something else.
ReplyDeleteI must not let Oskar read this post, because he had none!
Mimi, please be careful. Water and electricity don't mix well. I'm also always worried that I lose something in translation ;-) Oh well, can't be helped. I do my best!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking for every male animal on the planet, THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteDid I want to know that?!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHA! Bigglesballs are one thing, "soft warm pumpkins" are quite another! :::still laughing:::
ReplyDeleteSuldog, uhm, you're welcome?
ReplyDeleteJinksy, probably not ;-)
Pat, glad you liked it :-)
My cats have got a gazillion lovely cat beds, couches and comfy chairs to lie on and still they prefer empty boxes in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteMara, maybe they secretly dream of being a 'clochard' under a Parisian bridge. Cats are just weird and wonderful creatures.
ReplyDeleteAnd you wonder WHY I follow you? HAAAAA!!!! This would've made a fine post for "B"!
ReplyDeleteWe had a great gray tiger cat ages ago who had been "fixed". My husband found this large pom pom type thing made out of blue and white yarn with a loop on it. He put the loop over Tigger's tail and that cat completely changed. He STRUTTED when he walked as if to say, "And they told me I'd never get this back!" When the pom pom was removed...back to same old same old...but for those few precious moments in Tigger's mind, he was a MALE again. ")
Oh gosh, hahahahaha, I can just see the cat walking with the blue and white pom poms dangling. No photos? Can't stop laughing now!
ReplyDeleteMel, read your comment again and noticed it was only one pom. Or not? Still laughing!
ReplyDeleteYeah babe! Just one! LOLOLOLOL I don't know if I have any pix or not. I will look and get back to you!
ReplyDeleteHILArIOUS!!! What I adore about animals -- they are completely unselfconscious and WILL sleep wherever the he** they wish! Thank you for visiting my blog -- and yes, 99.9% of my shopping is fantasy, and virtual (on-line, that is), but it never occurred to me to shop for my Oscar gown. I'll have to try that next -- I'm still seeking a good few shops where millinery of unique quality exists! I do so love a good hat.
ReplyDeleteMel, yes please!
ReplyDeleteToni, if I find a good on-line millinery store I'll let you know. It's always a problem to find a good hat for Ascot ;-)
Also good for an Oscar gown: http://www.net-a-porter.com/cgi-bin/NETAPORTER.
Wonderful links! I've been shopping for the last hour and just posted the outfit I found -- alas, it's not for the Oscars, it's to accept my Blog of Note award (hee) ... I actually enjoyed doing that -- I haven't looked at truly girly-girl, luscious clothes in AGES.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed that you haven't found this milliner's site
ReplyDelete'shiny' sure is the word. :) I'm a little scared of dogs after being bitten on 3 occasions so I align myself pets of the feline variety.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I thought I was the only one too ;o) I LOVE Alfie's balls.....and now I have a strange and sudden urge to go and photograph them, is that normal?? Snoop has none....the vet took them after he tried to mate Gabbi, mwahahaha!
ReplyDeleteWell done for coming clean on the balls fixation....and clearing the way for others to do the same!
Slobbers xx
My animals are the same...no one sleeps on what was bought for them...they sleep anywhere but!!! Elora on Sophie's bed, Sophie on the floor, on Elora's bed....it's so funny. :)
ReplyDeleteCarolina...I just adore you. You are too funny. Thank you for the giggles, I needed them... today has been one very long work day. LOL
ReplyDeleteCece
It took me a bit to figure out what you were referring too...I haven't had an intact pet in years...but I guess he should be very proud of them
ReplyDeleteIvan Toblog (if you want to blog, why don't you?), thanks for the great tip. These hats are really beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteTim, gosh, you are clearly not a dogperson. And that feeling seems to be mutual. They must not like you. Dear me, you poor guy. Or were you torturing the dogs? In that case I fully understand.
Dughallmor Beagles, I hesitated if I should put the Bigglesballsobsessionthing in my post, but now I'm glad I did. It's so rewarding if you can help others. Is this the last taboo you think? Well, not any more!
Andrea, I hear cardboard boxes are a great hit in the feline society. And so inexpensive! Weird animals we all have (are).
Cecilia, love you too. And love your hat! It's great!!!!!
Ramblingwoods, just yesterday I heard on the radio that Tsjechië/Czech R. (it was I believe, could be another country) should stop castrating sex offenders.
Biggles should indeed be very proud of his beautiful shiny balls, and he should also be very glad that he still has them since he is totally in love with Phoebe and well.......he should also be very glad that he isn't living in Tsjechië/Czech R. (if that was the country they were referring to on the radio).
Loved this post! I had to give a laugh at the end! Too funny!
ReplyDeleteYou just never get to adopt an ex-racing greyhound with balls intact, and when you think about the fact that many greyhounds have totally bald, but very muscular thighs, one can only be grateful.
ReplyDeleteImagine walking behind that! LOL!
Michelle H., glad that you laughed (laugh while you still can, since Suldog is on the warpath, you brave woman ;-))
ReplyDeleteJay, I'm imagining it and...hmm, yes, maybe not a pretty sight. But...well, no, have to see it first before I can judge the attractiveness of the greyhound's dangly bits LOL
Lady Bananananana, he just has no shame! It's even worse that that, when he was younger, every time he sat down, his pink ...... came out of it's hidyhole. Haha. We made a picture once of all the dogs, to frame it for my parents who see our dogs as sort of their grandchildren, and well....let's just say that photoshop came in handy ;-) LOL
Carolina! STOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPP!!!! I'm DYING here! I'll NEVER be able to see...or hear...or USE Photoshop again without thinking of his pink...coming out of it's hidyhole! I need OXYGEN!

ReplyDeleteOh, I do blog. I'm just not sure you want to go there... then again seeing where this has gone...
I posted the site rather facetiously. I wouldn't even have been aware of the place if it hadn't been for the inauguration and Aretha Franklin.
Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteIvan Toblog, so now I'm really curious of course!
ReplyDeleteNothing facetious about the site! Really loved it. Next Ascot I'll be wearing one of their hats (virtually).
Great blogname by the way!
Iv2scpbk, thanks :-)
