Very Important message

Okay guys and girls, listen carefully: I will zay zis only wanz:
I’ve decided to start another blog for my photos. It’s called brinkbeestphotos. You can also find the link at the bottom of the page. Exciting, isn’t it? Who will be the first member of my photo-fanclub? Will it be you?
The main reason for this new venture is that I think sometimes my photos need a place of their own, without too much other things going on around them. Oh that sounds really pretentious. But I’ve registered for a workshop Horse Photography and a Photoshop course. All this schooling will hopefully result in lots of shareworthy shots.
(Perhaps I also need to start a blog about words I’ve invented. You may think I’m making mistakes, but I’m just doing some creative and inventive spelling ;-))

Of course I’ll still be posting the usual nonsense and stories about my life in general in this exact location. And to prove that I’m totally over the stupid Lyme disease and can blog ‘til I drop again, I’ve also accepted an invitation to join in the fantastic Fridge Soup blog (my first official Fridge Soup post).
I know, I hope I’ll end up in an institution that has internet access ;-)

  1. The new photo blog sounds cool, I shall list it in my blog roll so I can come and visit.

Thanks for visiting mine, the blog break is due to nothing bad, I just have a lot on over September. I don't want to commit to blogging myself but shall still be around. :)

Good luck with your course, it sounds fun. :)

  2. I would love to be your first photo follower - in fact I tried - but Blogger won't let me follow anyone new at the moment. And it doesn't seem to be sorting the problem out very fast either.

  3. Holly&Zac,
Glad to hear there is no 'serious' reason for your blog break :-)
    Take care.
And thanks for putting the photoblog on your list. X

    jennyfreckles,
Oh, that's right, I've noticed I wasn't allowed to follow 'new' blogs. Thought it was a personal thing ;-)
We'll have to be patient with Blogger I guess *sigh*

  5. jennyfreckles,
I've come up with the solution! I hope. If you go the my photoblog and click in the top left side of your screen on follow, it does work. I've tried it and now am my own first follower. I might open a bottle of champagne to celebrate
    ;-)

    Mara,
Oo, I'll be honoured if you joined the fanclub. If you can't follow through the 'friendsconnect' thingy, you can perhaps try plan B as described to jennyfreckles in the above comment ;-) Institutionalization is around the corner. Funnily enough, there is an institute around the same corner. Happy coincidence ;-)
(I'm not really being institutionalized. I think.)

  7. I tried to be number on follower on your photblog, but I only made it to #2!

I can't wait to see more of your photography & I think it's a perfect idea to have a different blog where your pictures can be showcased.

    Hugs & love,
    Mimi

  8. Putz,
Dear Putz, I suspect you are typing with your fists ;-) And you are brilliant of course, so you would be able to write your own dictionary ;-)

    Mimi,
Technically you are follower No 1. Congratulations ;-) I don't count, because I was the first one to follow myself. How sad is that?

  9. Good post at The Fridge. I enjoyed it, and commented. And I'm now a follower at the photo site. Does the combination of the two win me any prizes? No, probably not. That's OK, though, as visiting both was its own reward!

(That sounds horribly sarcastic, coming from me, but I mean it.)

  10. Yes, good post at Fridge Soup. Don't go in for snippets - they're just appetisers and don't often satisfy;-)

  11. Suldog,
    Thank you!
I've read the comment over at the Soup and discovered this is the 2nd (or 3rd?) thing we have in common. Or the 4th, if you count the Jekyll and Hyde jeans ;-)

    Jabblog,
    Thank you too ;-)

  12. This all sounds most exciting!! Good for you - I look forward to seeing the fruits of your labour. Don't worry about making up new words, OH and I do it all the time. We spent the morning telling each other that we felt really glopey this morning and while you might guess what it means, nobody can know except us and our immediate family because in a moment of true 'word salad' OH made it up. This is how language evolves!!

I'm off now to see what a 'fridge soup' could be.

  13. Jay,
Glopey... hmm. Interesting. If only you could describe it, we could adopt it in our Dictionary Of Blogland Language, otherwise, but not yet, known as the DOBL ;-)

  14. Oh goody, another blog to follow! Where am Igoing to find the time. I'd love to do a photo blog but I just can't be bothered maintaining it. OK off to link in Reader and I'm envious of the photography and photoshop course, I really need to enrol in something like that.
