Jewels, hubs tried to add a bit more purple yesterday when we were visiting friends and sat next to each other at their kitchen table and he wanted to go home, so he slapped me júst above my left knee, saying: come on honey, were going home. I tell you, it brought a tear to my eye ;-) And I spoke to Elvis for a minute ;-(
I'm sure I left a comment here earlier, but I can't see it! I said how painful it looked and then offered to lend you the Lt-Commander in case you needed help with the housework .. or something.
Hmm. Hang on a minute .. where's he gone? Is he with you already?
Don't forget to give him back when you're done, will you?
Mara, thank you ;-) I'm a colourful person I guess.
Jay, HA!!!! The Lt-Commander's work here, is NEVER done! And I love the way he sings while he works So.....I think I'll keep him. You'll have to persuade Mr. Depp to do your housework.
the professionals, it looks worse than it feels ;-)
Mel, hehe, you are a Drama Queen ;-) So am I, otherwise I wouldn't have posted the photo ;-) Cool colours eh? But it really doesn't feel as bad as it looks. Don't worry auntie Mel ;-)
Pam, I have to admit that you all feeling sorry for me, does make me feel better ;-) But fortunately the legs look worse than they feel.
samantha, holly&zac, I know. Apparently I can thank Elvis for it ;-)
Pouty Lips, well, actually they are quite numb and nobody is allowed to touch them, so it's not that painful ;-)
Jay, hehehe
Don't bug me, thank you. I always say, if you do something, do it GOOD! I don't know why comments disappeared. Internet and Blogger do things nobody understands. Glad you took the time to leave another comment. I love comments ;-)
If your husband had slapped any bruised legs of mine, especially just above the left knee, I'd have done more than speak to Elvis for a minute....
You do not have a map of Blogland, by the way. That is the Cloud Nebula, if I ever saw it, which I did just this past Thursday when I was visiting some friends in space.
Rhymeswithplague, I specifically asked for the map of Blogworld. You mean that the tattoo-guy spent all those hours tattooing Cloud Nebula on my legs? I want my money back!
Goodness, I am away for the holiday weekend and come to find this! You know I am sending healing vibes your way bigtime. You look like me after one of Nigel's leg humping episodes...
Oh my goodness. You poor thing!!!! How awful. My husband has always warned me that when one is loading horses in the trailer, bad things can happen as a horse weighs much more than us mere mortals. And now I see it with my own eyes what can go wrong!
I hope you heal soon, and I hope you are not in TOO much pain... at least you can still walk, that is a miracle!
GAH! THIS is what happens when I leave you alone for a few days?!?! I'd better make sure I check your blog EVERY day or who knows what I'll find next. Honestly, Carolina, could you TRY to take care of yourself? ;P
In all seriousness, I'm glad to read in the comments that it isn't as painful as it looks - because it looks unbelievably so! If that is Blogworld though, I wonder where I am.. I think I see myself just above your left knee there..
Life With Dogs, your healing vibes are working a treat! Hmm, if it was due to a humping episode of one of the dogs at least one of us would have had some pleasure out of it ;-) Thank Elvis (it's a long story, he seems to be my guardian angel) our dogs don't hump. At least not our legs.
Oz Girl, funny, I always warn my husband ;-) Usually I am very careful. This was just one of those moments. It's like Eeyore (Winnie the Pooh's friend) once said: "They're funny things, Accidents. You never have them till you're having them." So true!
Rose, Elvis loves me apparently. We have decided he is my guardian angel. (Don't ask, it's a long story.) I must buy an Elvis CD one day ;-)
Picture Each Day, LOL You should never leave me alone. I cannot be trusted ;-) Thanks Elvis he's always with me. lol If you are just above my left knee, you must have a very sore head, cause hubs slapped you a couple of days ago ;-) If you haven't already you need to read my reply to Jewels' comment about the kneeslapping episode ;-( Another OUCH-moment.
Carolina, I am just getting caught up with you, and I have obviously missed all kinds of high jinks and stunt-double work...
What have you done with yourself, my darling! There is only room for one klutz in Blogworld, and that is me, la Fhina, comic-clumsy woman! Take care of yourself, my sweet Caro x
Oh wow, those are really quite spectacular bruises! The nearest I've got to such colours also involved a horse......I fell off one and dislocated my elbow. My arm looked quite impressive but your legs take the biscuit!
Comments are very much appreciated. I will often answer your comment here too. So please click on the email link. Sometimes the most interesting part of a post are the comments ;-)
Good God! You're lucky to be walking!
ReplyDeleteChairman Bill, that's exactly the reaction I was hoping for ;-) I like a bit of drama.
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks much better than earlier in the week.
Ow! That hurts even to look at! Are you sure it's not a Treasure Island Map? All you need is an X marks the spot...
ReplyDeleteJinksy, yep, I knew YOU would come up with something like that ;-)
ReplyDeleteHmm. Needs a bit more purple I think. The yellowy green is kind of taking over, and it's too close to your healthy skin colour by far!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to have that for weeks by the looks of it. Thank Elvis you're ok!

Wow! you are very lucky....your bruises look pretty colourful...:-/
ReplyDeleteDina,
ReplyDeletewell, what can I say. I'm a very talented bruiser ;-)
Oh my! That must be so painful! The colours are nice though, well done...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I left a comment here earlier, but I can't see it! I said how painful it looked and then offered to lend you the Lt-Commander in case you needed help with the housework .. or something.

ouch that looks furry nasty
ReplyDeleteOh my precious, PRECIOUS girl! I'm so relieved you are ok...even though those bruises look horrifically PAINFUL!
ReplyDeletePlease take care...if Auntie Mel lived closer she'd be there to help!!!!!
xoxoxoxoxo
Oh my gosh!!
ReplyDeletethe professionals,

You could probably turn that into a map of some country. Sort of like looking in the sky & seeing what shapes the clouds look like!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're feeling better.
Mimi,
ReplyDeleteYou've guessed it! I have the map of Blogworld tatooed on my legs ;-)
They do look very painful.
ReplyDeleteYou were very lucky not to have broken them.
Ouchie. It looks so painful. I hope you are not in too much pain.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to have Mr Depp do my housework, even though he would be a lot less efficient than Mr Data. Mmm. There's something to dream about!
ReplyDelete*Wanders off, singing '... if I had Aladdin's lamp for only a day, I'd make a wish and here's what I'd say ... '*
ROFL!
Now that is impressive. Well done!
ReplyDeletePS As with Jay, I seem to missing a comment here too!?!

Cece,
honestly, I'm OK. Really.
Thanks ;-)
Lady Banana,
ReplyDeletethanks. There is a first time for everything. Glad to be of service ;-)

OUCH! Looks so sore and tender! I just read what happened to you--very lucky that something wasn't broken.

Om my goodness! I guess I missed something very horrible here, so I'll have to read back a bit. Those are some of the worst bruises I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteSuldog,
ReplyDeleteI've always done all my own stunts but from now on I will be hiring a stunt double. I'm getting too OLD for this ;-)
Carolina, I am just getting caught up with you, and I have obviously missed all kinds of high jinks and stunt-double work...

ReplyDeleteOowwieee! What happened? I went back to previous posts to see what caused this picaso on your legs, but I couldn't find the post about it.
