i laughed

 

a friend came to visit the poor patient with the broken wrist (me) and brought her two eldest daughters (8 and 4) and the, also 8 year old, boyfriend of the eldest with her. the boyfriend introduced himself to hubs: ‘hello, i’m connor.’
’hi connor’, said hubs. ‘so you are amy’s boyfriend?’
’yes’, connor nodded, ‘and i’m very good at it!’

    That's priceless! I'm glad to hear he's very good at it. Love your Biggles and Mozes picture they are so sweet.Hope the wrist is feeling better.

    Wat een schatje die connor. Geweldige opmerking. Leuk om ook deze foto's te zien op deze blog. Zijn de dieren rechts van de kolom van jou of gewoon die je kent? Zo leuk. Nu ik de katten zie komen er bijna traantjes in mijn ogen. Wij hebben afgelopen zondag onze 'juffie' (poes) moeten laten inslapen. Wat is dat toch een moeilijke beslissing. Maar na 3 dagen hevige epileptische aanvallen kon ze niet meer. We hebben haar moeten laten gaan. En dan merk je hoe ze verweven zijn in je leven al die tijd. Bijzondere beestjes zijn het..:) Groetjes Andrea

      hoi andrea, wat leuk dat je me opgezocht hebt. En ik zag dat je ook bij de paarden- en de andere foto's hebt gekeken. Leuk! Ik hou niet alle blogs even goed bij hoor. gaat met vlagen. en voorlopig komt van fotograferen sowieso even niks, want ik ben van Evie (hiernaast) gevallen en heb m'n pols gebroken (vandaar dat ik weleens een hoofdletter laat schieten, want ik typ nu met 1 hand).
      Alle dieren hiernaast zijn van ons. Dus ik begrijp helemaal hoeveel je van een kat (hond, paard, ja zelfs varken) kunt houden en hoe erg het is als je die beslissing moet nemen. Ik leef met je mee :-(

    Oh, dear, Carolina - just catching up with some blogs (I have been a bad blogger) I'm so sorry to see that you've broken your wrist. I hope the little bone behaves and does what it should. Anyway, you have a good excuse to be a lady of leisure and watch Wimbledon, the Tour de France and the Olympics - or not, as you wish;-) Mend well and quickly, dear friend.

    Oh good Lord. I disappear for months...then decide I'm too old for Blogger's new EASIER!!! NOW MORE INTUITIVE!!!! interface. Finally sign back in and what do I find? I've missed out on the fact that you've broken your wrist!!! Am I the very BBFF you've ever HAD? lolololol

    Oh my precious Carolina...I suck. ")

    Sir Biggles is looking GORGEOUS as always...he really is overdue for a visit with his Auntie Mel...and Mozes...bless him...I so miss having a black kitty.

    Perhaps I will attempt to put forth another post this month. In the meantime, I love you, take care of yourself, try not to injure or contract anything else, and know that I think of you so very often!
