Hi there, it's me again! Yeah, I know. Long time no see (and I'm bowing my head in shame). Anyway, a couple of days ago a friend asked me if I wanted to take some photos of his weird but wonderful ducks and geese. He has quite a collection and needed some photos to show to other duckmad people.
And although the photos didn't come out as amazing as I wanted them to be, because I didn't get the settings of my camera quite right so they lack sharpness, stupid me, there are still a couple of shots I wanted to share with you. Please don't ask me what kind of ducks or geese they are. I haven't a clue. But they are wonderful looking creatures.
Not all of them wanted to have their picture taken.
I really hope to be here more often from now on. Turns out that I'm still suffering from the dreaded Lyme disease which makes me sooooo tired sometimes that I can't even speak in my own language. Let alone think or write in another one. But hey... things can only get better ;-)
I think those photo's are lovely. Much better than I could do. Weird looking ducks though. We have relatively normal looking ducks here. They don't like to have their pictures taken either.
ReplyDeleteI love the one with the four ducks or geese. Did you place them like that?
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you're still suffering from peculiar bugs - never mind duck-itis( i.e the urge to snap bandy legged feathered thingies!)Lovely to see you back in Blogland, if only in passing! xxx
ReplyDeleteJewels,
ReplyDeleteah, but you see, these ducks think your ducks look abnormal ;-)
Mara,
sticky tape does wonders! ;-)
Jinksy,
I so hope I'm not passing. I plan on staying. Again. Sigh. ;-)
Whoa. I missed the buggy part the first time. Hope you're ok. Sending lots of lime-fighting strength your way.
ReplyDeleteThat one photo looks just like the old singing group called The Mamas and The Papas. Priceless!
ReplyDeleteMissed your blogging (or lack thereof) something fierce....
Shit, some of those birds are ugly! Lovely photos though, as always....I have missed your wicked humour and beautiful piccies for far too long!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you're suffering with Lyme disease, but happy to hear your symptoms aren't as bad as they could be.....I didn't realise it could do so much damage until a friend of mine recently discovered she has it and I read up on it....nasty, nasty little buggers!
I could go on. But I won't.
Slobbers!!!!!!!!! xx
Have you ever heard of the game called "Duck, Duck, Goose"?
ReplyDeleteHonest, Carolina, I didn't miss this one. I just didn't have a comment.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely ducks... just watch where you walk.
IT,
ReplyDeleteI'm proud to have left you speechless.
My wife is the only one who really leaves me speechless ;-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos... love the second one he looks so round. HAHA
ReplyDeleteI love ducks, just not the messes they leave behind. HA
