Would you like to meet Wim?

Yesterday Wim came, saw and conquered the bathroomhiccups with a lot of shit, shit, shitterdeshits and a lot of singing too (see yesterday's post). So I asked him if I should organise a radio for him, for some musical accompaniment, but he declined the offer. "You are your own musical accompaniment", I said. "I'm singing in two different bands", he said. "Oh?", I said. "We are on the internet", he said. Apparently they are worldfamous, well in Groningen at least. So, if you would like to meet Wim and hear a song in Gronings, which is sort of subtitled by the video shot in Wim's mother's garden, watch this and let them entertain you (the video has a happy ending, but be warned, the rest of it is quite upsetting):

  1. But which one is he in the fuzzy picture? (not listening to youTube thingy, as radio is in full music mode, and I'd have to switch it off, for the sake of my sanity )

  2. Oh, that was quite fun - seeing as it was clearly a humorous song and the mole was a stuffed one!

Is he the lead singer? I feel a problem with my plumbing coming on! LOL!

  5. Hahaha! This made my morning :)

I loved reading about Wim in your last post, too. I think "shitterdeshits" is going to be my new vulgarity of choice.

  12. But without shooting the mole or the horrible mole catching devices so as not to upset the little children ;-)

He wrote the song (I actually don't think it's a very good song, but it is entertaining and in Gronings it sounds funny) because his neighbour said (in Gronings): 'I've got so many moles in the garden, if I had a gun I'd shoot them all! You could write a song about thát!'

And now he can't show his face around where he lives without people asking him: 'How many have you shot today Wim?' hehe

  13. T,
oops, you slipped in there without me noticing, sorry. Not my kind of music either. Shitterdeshit(s) proves to be a big hit with my readers. Well some of them, hehe.

  14. Shitshitshitterdeshits!! (And piss, hehe!) My speakers have packed up again! (maybe the music broke them :D
He looks ever so slightly....errrm, unhinged.... (wonder if he'll appear on Dr.Phil? Maybe it was you who told me...but Martha Stewart apparently keeps a dog blog, it's called "The Daily Wag"....and she's clearly as mad as 10 badgers!! (I'm SO gonna check it out though))
I love how Wim used a faceguard to resuscitate the critter.
    Slobbers xx

  15. This reminds me of the home made band vids here the youngters do. Love the humour. I wish them well and will forward the link to those with a sense of irony.

  16. Dughallmor Beagles,
I didn't know Martha S. has a dogblog, I'm definitely going to check that out.
I saw some pictures of Petey's holiday home, WOW!!!!! Maybe if Rosie and Petey get married you can some time there too. Imagine that!
(book me in for a Dr. Phil session too please! I'm getting hauled in by the dogblogs. HELP!!)

    Allhorsestuff,
    yeah man, hehe

    Babooshka,
