  1. That is a very sound image. Good and strong, different also.

  2. The angle of this shot makes me think that someone has stepped on the prongs of the rake! Great shot.

  3. I like they way the eye is deceived into thinking the scale may be quite other than it actually is, so the tines become a bridge and the handle an oil pipe -or something!

  4. Very imaginative, looks huge though.

P.S. going to trot back to forty foot now .... lol

  6. At first I thought it was a pier jutting out into the ocean....

    Love the photo!

  7. I LIKE this one. I had to look at it for a few seconds to realize it's a rake. I like photos that make you think.

  13. I had the same initial reaction as Jinksy. At a glance this looked like something much, much bigger than a rake!

but it didn't lose any of its magic when I realized what it was. Great shot!

  14. Wonderful detail Carolina. I love the way the rake divides the grass from the - is it sand? The grass is so sharp, and I see someone left the rake out in the rain, as there are drops on the handle!

  15. Looks like a sandtrap to me as well, with the rake sharing itself with the sand and the grass. Now can we get back to the golf? Good one.

  16. I had the same reaction as Jinsky. In the last blog I saw a bridge and now I thought first I see pillars. ;-)
    Great picture!

  18. Fantastic! I agree with jinksy ... the proportion-to-perspective ratio is such that you're not quite sure of the size of the object. I love it.

  21. I thought the exact same thing as rhymeswithplague and Daryl, but I couldn't figure out what the big pipe running out to the pier was. I really love the angle.
