(This is my 3rd Camera Critters entry.)
Our sofa is a designer one!
It even has a name.
It's called Easy Living.
("What does this have to do with Camera Critters?", I hear you ask. Please be patient. All will become clear!)
The thought of finally being able to lead an Easy Life, and the fact that it actually is a very big and comfortable couch, sold the Easy Living to us.
When we bought it some years ago, we had visions of winter's evenings spent on our beautiful new couch, in front of the open fire, a glass of wine within reach, feet on the table (I know....a no no for more sophisticated people), something really good on TV (well, as soon as we included that into our vision, we should have known that this whole dream would never come true).
This couch was a fair amount of money well spent!
Or so we thought.
For we can hardly be found on this very inviting couch, that beckons: "Come and rest your bottom on my oh so soft but yet very supportive cushions."
In fact, you can more often find us sitting on the not so comfortable carpet. Lack of sofaspace forces us to more 'down to earth' evenings. "Lack of sofaspace?", you might ask. "But I thought this was a really big couch and there are only two of you. And still we are no clearer on the point of this being a Camera Critters Entry. So...?" Well, to be true, we are the only human beings in this household, but not the only ones that can really appreciate this Easy Living concept. We are lucky if there is a tiny space left for just a buttock to be enjoying the comforts of the Easy Living sofa.
And finally we come to the
Camera Critters point.
AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST....

priceless photos!!...we pets rule!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so familiar !!! We often have to kind of scoot furry bodies out of the way when we want to sit. Both dogs then usually decide to sit all over us. Glad they are of the smaller variety !!
Oh, my! The last one is just hilarious. That is definitely easy living!!
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much for the smiles I got from your lazy.. I mean relaxed, pets. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a slumber party!
ReplyDeleteROFL That is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteMy next life, I want to come back as a beloved pet. Nothing to do all day but eat and nap! LOL

ReplyDeletewow! what a gorgeous dogs you have, nice color the hairs are so shiny very pretty and you have lots of cats too, they are so sweet hugging each other while sleeping...
ReplyDeletewell somebody is living easy!!
ReplyDeleteyou're a good, good pet parent
They have taken over the joint! :)
ReplyDeleteI just have to tell you that I almost spit my drink out of my mouth when I read your tips for photographing pets! So funny. I guess I'll need to be sure to have a bunch of alcohol on hand the next time I try it out. Ha!
Your post title "So Fa So Good" is brilliant! I digg that type of thing.
ReplyDeleteThis collection of photos should be used as a lesson to us all on how to relax ;)
Laze around on your comfortable sofa with someone you love - not your laptop! (which is what I'm doing right now).
They really know how to utilize the whole sofa - the four cats could easiy fit on the first pillow - but I guess that isn't as cosy as lying down the back of the sofa :)
I'd find it hard to move them to make room for myself.
I like how you lead us to your critter with the thoughts of your sofa and tite. Excellent.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! It is the same site that I see at the very moment! Two black labs stretched out on my sofa! LoL.
ReplyDeletePlease stop!
Great photos. My wife often uses a dog or two for extra warmth while she'd laying on the couch. Perhaps we need a few cats to fill in the odd spots the dogs don't cover.
ReplyDeleteThat last one is too funny! You can tell they are happy little critters - all of them.
ReplyDeleteWhere do sit?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh i have to laugh as that is what my couch looks like, as i type this i have 4 cats laying on the top of the couch and 4 cats on the seat of the couch, and i am at the end of the couch with a small space.I however have to keep my couch covered with anything i can find as the hair accumulates. How do you did it without covers, i wash and dry mine every 3 day just to keep the hair down
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh... this is too funny! I really love the bottom photo... Lol!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! Really cute!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you may need a second couch. Your animal family is very cute.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know why it took until Sunday morning for this post to appear on my computer screen, even though the 'Blogger Buzz' pointed me in its direction 'on time'....
ReplyDeleteLooks like an expensive pet bed, that sofa!
Those are too cute!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of sofa pinchers here and i have been known to get off so they would be more comfy as well! LOL
Like our house! "If you want the best seat in the house, you need the heart to move the critters" :)
ReplyDeletethey are - as we say, "lucky dogs"
ReplyDeleteand belong on the floor, but they can not know that unless you tell them - and mean it
Thanks for your visit and camera critters
David, I consider US the lucky ones for having these lovely and friendly animals around us and I'm not so sure about this 'dogs belong on the floor' thing. It all depends. So many factors to be taken into consideration when we are to decide who belongs on the floor. I can think of many humans I would not let anywhere near my sofa and for whom a piece of my floor would be too much of an honour. Just had to get that out of my system. :-) Thanks for your comment.
ReplyDeleteExactly Carolina! Not every one agrees with the "pets off furniture", and instead see pets as true family members. Not as object to shove off in a corner.
ReplyDeleteGranted, SOME dogs have dominance issues, and shouldn't be allowed on sofas, or furniture, but most dogs are perfect fine being allowed on furniture, as long as they are respectful, and know who's in charge.
When we want the sofa, or chairs, the dogs and cats KNOW to move, without even being asked. They know who own the furniture. That's what's important :)
lol! no wonder they are called 'pets'!!
ReplyDeleteThose are great. Looks just like my house. :))
ReplyDeleteeveryone

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.
Oh my god so pritty pics, and the poses of beasts are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteOh my ... these photos are WONDERFUL and I mustn't let Molly see them or she'll want to be on my furniture too! Currently she's content to be on any one of her numerous beds throughout the house. You are truly a 'critter' person! Thanks for visiting at Happily Retired Gal this weekend.
