What a handsome fellow, and I love the purple flowers against his feathers. It's so long since I have been amongst free roaming chooks :( I think I am forming a plan for the weekend after next :)
ReplyDeleteI miss my chickens. So I enjoyed these photos very much. I was watching a show on the ABC called "the secret life of chickens" and I only caught the last 5 minutes of it but they were saying that chickens are easier to train than dogs. It was very interesting.

ReplyDeleteIs it your rooster? I mean how do you know the hen's eggs aren't fertilized. He's a handsome cock for sure. Seriously, I'd love a few chooks but I have too many foxes to leave them out at night.
ReplyDeleteGood looking rooster, but that very first photo makes him look mean! It's as though he's stomping towards me. Is he mean? The other photos don't seem so, as much.
