Sunday Selections: the love edition

Our Sunday Selections host Kim’s daughter got married yesterday. She has some lovely photos and a memorable wedding story on her blog Frogpondsrock.

So I thought it would be nice to choose my Sunday Selections for this day, based on LOVE.

Sarah (the cat, sadly no longer with us) loved Phoebe (now 14 years old).

SSL10584

Lovedoves.

Hubs loves his horse Willem.

SSL11053

They all love each other.

SSL11056

It’s getting a bit crowded with so much love going on.

SSL11100

Cute love.

SSL11320

I loved this little cat, Lapje, but sadly she’s one of the fourleggers who’s no longer with us.

Well, who wouldn’t love Nufnuf’s smiling face.

Or that of his non-related brother Tumtum, who isn’t as smiley, but definitely very loveable.

There is so much love going on in our house, that I have enough photos for several Sunday Selections. More of the same will be in next week’s Sunday Selections.

  2. Love all your animals, and after my own experience with them, and very surprised at all the love between the cats and dogs! My cats terrorised the dog we had so much that we had to return it!

Little Lapje looks like my Scamper does. I see that expression all the time, and she is very much a cuddler. I have quite a few pictures of her cuddled up to Miss 5, and she used to snuggle up at feeding time when Miss 5 was a baby too :)

  3. These are beautiful. And I love that you remember those that have gone on (don't they wind their furry paws into your heart strings).

  5. Well you know I'm a labradorophile and I think your glossy boy is just awesome. Such a shame that grey's lose their dapples as they age. My little dappled Welshy is snow white these days. And your photography girl...is improving beyond belief. Totally lovely.

  9. What a fabulous selection of photos. The relationships between animals of different species always fascinates me - particularly that between man and woman;-)
