Sunday Selections is hosted by Kim from Frogpondsrock to give us an opportunity to post those photos that are lurking somewhere in some folder on your computer, almost forgotten. If you have folders filled with photos waiting to be shown on your computer, you can always hop over to the rocking frog ponds and join in.
I’ve slightly broken ‘the rules’ this week, because I’ve posted on or two of these before, but since almost no one has seen them and they fitted so beautifully in my ‘moving shots’ theme this week…
MOVED
Love that second last photo, moves my heart :)
ReplyDelete@ Marita: The hands belong to a friend of mine and her first child. I thought it was a touching photo too ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the bird taking off from the post by the water! Priceless! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, the last one is moving in a totally different way. That is just so sweet.

ReplyDeleteI love the skating one!
ReplyDelete@ Jay: bad timing on the heron's (!) part ;-) And that last photo is one of my absolute favourites ;-)
ReplyDelete@ Pam: I think it's clever of you that you recognize them as skaters. Shows that you should never discard a photo just because it isn't crisp and sharp ;-)
Love them all but the hands are my favorite and the horse kiss too.
ReplyDelete@ Grey Horse Matters: those are the most moving ones ;-) How's the bum?
ReplyDeleteI think I will have to join you, I have stacks of unused photos.
ReplyDeleteSome of these are 'fast' and' furious' but the last one is my very favourite. Aaaahhhhh.
Is that a bird against the silver birch or an insect?
ReplyDeleteI really liked the take off photo too. In fact I liked them all, thank you.
@ friko: I'm sure we'll all enjoy seeing those photos ;-)
ReplyDelete@ The Elephant's Child: 'Is it a bird? Is it a plain?' hehe, in fact it is a woodpecker ;-)
Great movement images for today's selectionxxxxlove them. lynda x

The skaters is my favourite, but only just. I do like all of these photos very much. Thank you Carolina.
ReplyDeleteOh, the one with the skaters. Fantastic and so Dutch!
ReplyDelete@ Lynda H.: thank you ;-)
ReplyDelete@ frog ponds rock: No, thank you ;-)
@ Mara: to be honest, I was trying out settings to get sharp images of the fast moving skaters. This was an 'oops' photo. But I like it too. And it is even more Dutch than you'd expect, because behind me, when taking this shot, is a windmill ;-)
Well, the last one is magnificent, of course. Few loves surpass a man and his horse!
ReplyDelete@ Suldog:
ReplyDeleteForget the 'horse whisperer'. Horse kissing is the thing to do now ;-)
Every time I see this photo it makes me smile.
You wield a mean camera at any speed...♥
ReplyDeleteOh wow, some selections of art are what all these are. Adore the
ReplyDeleteSkaters, too cool.
Of course I'm into that totally awesome lip plant upon the horseface!
