Here’s some great advice. Again. For free. You can thank me in the comments section.
So, here it is:
If you don’t own a boat, make sure you have friends who do.
As you perhaps know (I’ve posted photos of boat trips before) we have friends who do. And on one of the last beautiful summer’s evenings (although technically it was already autumn, but it felt like summer) in September, we were invited to join them again on said boat. You’ll realize how great my advice was if you see the photos of that trip:
Check out some other great shots of this trip on my photoblog.
It IS very nice getting out on the water once in a while. Love the sheep photo. So peaceful!
ReplyDeleteVisited Dorothy last night, and saw your lovely card. Thanks so much! She was quite thrilled to get something from The Netherlands!
It's good to see things from a different perspective and you certainly get that on a boat.
ReplyDeleteVery calm and lovely photos, particularly the last four. (I do like sheep, preferably still walking around.)
Beautiful photos of the water and boats. The sheep are calm and look lovely.
ReplyDeleteOf course, it is always better to have friends or family with a boat. They are lots of work if you own one, thank goodness I have friends with boats so I don't have all the work only the pleasure.
Great advice. I'm lucky enough to have friends with a boat but a little shy to ask them to take me out unless I have an interstate or overseas visitor. Lovely pics as always. Really must crank up my camera
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to grow up on a lake so I'm a nut for boats and water, but my favorite of those photos is the next to last one! Wonderful shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with you people and sheep? I post beautiful photos of boats and their reflection in the water and everybody loves 'the sheep'. LOL
ReplyDeleteThose boats are beautiful! Baaa...
