Sunday Selections is hosted by Kim from Frogpondsrock and is the perfect opportunity to post those photos that are otherwise hanging around aimlessly in folders on your computer.
HEADS UP
So, last week I posted their bottoms, and today I’m posting their other ends. Their heads. Well, I tried, but some just didn’t want to look at the little birdie.
Like that middle cow. Stubborn thing.
And this is the other end of Mozes. He’s probably looking at another little birdie.
Mozes and Biggles putting their heads together.
The Biggles Face
You’re not photographing my bum again are you?
Yeah (snigger), but I’m also making some shots of your beautiful head.
Hullo?! What’s that big bum doing there? The chickens are fascinated by this particular posterior too (Too? What do I mean: ‘too’. I’m not. No, honestly. I’m not!)
Now I have to post a photo of his head too.
And of that of his little ‘brother’. Ugly, but nice. (Tumtum is the one in front, Nufnuf is… well… looking at Tumtum’s bum. Are we all posterior-obsessed here?)
THE FRONT END
Hi, just hopping over from Frogpondsrock. Loving all your farm animals! Wish I could get me some.
ReplyDeleteYour photography is great, too. Love the photo of our cat. My last cat was black, too. She died two months ago, aged 19 (!),
Heads and tails - can't really have one without the other! :)
ReplyDeleteLove these photos, and your grounds look so lush and green (no, I'm not looking at the butts). Your Biggles and cat are beautiful. I've always wanted a black cat.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's me, Karen, NOT roba Dolce - sigh.
ReplyDeleteI am jealous of all your creatures and your lush, lush yard!
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos! I love the way Mozes and Biggles are rubbing heads.
ReplyDeleteA great selection this week Carolina, Are your pigs pets or are they destined to become bacon?
ReplyDeleteTHE PIGS ARE PETS!!!!!! (hehehe, just wanted to make that clear)
ReplyDeleteI love all of the animals! I wish I could meet them all. And you too of course, lol!
ReplyDeleteHugs & love,
Mimi
They say children and animals are the two hardest things to photograph so well done even though you couldn't get them to look at the camera, sometimes it's nicer to catch them looking at whatever it is they're looking at. I would love to live on a farm and be surrounded by animals.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Biggles and Mozes together. There's something particularly heartwarming and optimistic about a dog and a cat coexisting peacefully.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Beautiful! Biggles is one handsome dog, isn't he? And the heads and tails of all the others are ... well, the 'tails' are perhaps not beautiful, but the heads most certainly are!
ReplyDeleteI love the shiny blackness of your dogs and cat! They always seem to shine just a tad more than the average ginger cat for some reason.
ReplyDeleteThe brown cow in the first photo is beautiful; I'd like to kiss him/her on the nose! Biggles is, well, big... and very handsome. Love all your animal photos, even the piggies.
ReplyDeleteWord verification is 'hayforke.' Quite suitable for the content of today's post.
Have to tell you Carolina, I'm in love with your animals. Biggles particularly. We rarely see these lovely broad browed labradors in Australia, we're breeding them small to avoid hip displasure but he is one beautiful dog. Give him a schnuffle and a ruffle from down under. (I think Lily fancies him)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the head shot of Biggles. What a handsome guy. I love the way you captured the texture of the cow's coats - coarse and slightly fuzzy at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI love the one of Mozes and Biggles headbutting, you have such a great assortment of beautiful animals and pets there. It must be so nice having them all around.
ReplyDeleteIf the Lord decides to do another flood, you may be the one He asks to build an ark.
ReplyDeleteI'm just sayin'....
oh what a beauties I love the one with the cat and the dog again They are indeed best friends. The picture of the cows is cute too
