Sunday Selections: the nap time edition, no. 2

This is the 50th edition of Sunday Selections, hosted by the very creative and lovely Kim from Frogpondsrock. Sunday Selections gives us the opportunity to post those photos that have been hanging around on our computers(s) for ages. I seem to have a lot of photos of sleepy animals, so this is the second edition of my Sleepy Sunday Selections. A third edition will follow next Sunday. We will all be terribly bored by then.

For other, more ‘professional’, photos taken by yours truly and featuring horses and their humans, see my attempt to start a photography business.

NAP TIME (again)

  2. Very cute photos. Do you have the same effect on small children? That would be very handy!

  3. They are just beautiful. Many an aw moment here. I would like to be as flexible as they are too.

  4. Why are animals always photogenic, no matter what contortions they're in?

  5. There is nothing quite so relaxed and happy as a relaxed and happy cat.

  6. Sorry it took me so long to visit you. These photos make me smile. My cat used to very firmly hold my dogs face with her paws and clean his ears for him. They had a fight over piece of bacon one day and she (the cat) has ignored the dog ever since.

  7. These are gorgeous, Carolina - there's something so touching about small cats close up to big, strong dogs - such trust (or is it idiocy??)

  8. Did I already wish you a merry Christmas (even though you probably don't want one)? I can't remember.

No matter. I'll do it again, right now:

Merry Christmas and, perhaps even more importantly, a happy, healthy, prosperous, peaceful 2012 and beyond to you and Hubs and all the animals.

  9. Are you sure it's naptime in that very first photo? It looks more like: I've got you and will gobble you up right now!

I love the way cats sleep by the way and you captured them to a t!
