Last week I chose LOVE as a theme, because our Sunday Selections host Kim from Frogpondsrock’s daughter just got married. I found so many LOVEly photos in my files that I had enough for another LOVE edition.
So, here they are:
A LOVEly meeting between dog and foal. (They still are attracted to each other. Holle (dog) often licks Evie’s nose. Awww.)
The love between Naloma and Evie.
Our lovely Holle.
Hubs and Evie having an intimate get together.
This is just weird.
I really don’t love, or even like, my photo being taken. In fact, I don’t even want to look at photos of myself. But this self-portrait I could almost love. Should have cleaned the window though, before I took this shot.
Naloma loves being hugged. And no, she doesn’t have 7 legs and two tails.
Synchronized love.
Yep, there is the ‘horse kisser’ again. He loves (kissing) his horses.
They love each other and I know that our Sunday Selections host, Kim from Frogpondsrock, loves them.
On the search for these LOVEly photos, I found a lot of photos that will fit another theme next week. Be prepared for lots of chuckles and awwws.
Very romantic! I love the first photo. Holle and Evie are so cute together.
ReplyDelete@ Tat: that was the first time they saw each other. Evie is much bigger now, this was taken two and a half years ago, but she will still go to Holle and Holle does lick her nose. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteI love your self portrait it is so nice to see your face.I smiled at the ladybirds thank you.
ReplyDeleteAs usual I really really liked your horse photos.
When My mum was still riding regularly, her friend Mary agisted her feisty mare Flicka here at Mums as it was easier for them both to ride from Mums. Flicka bonded with a grey goose of mine who had lost her partner and they became inseparable. When Mary took Flicka back down to her home paddocks, she took the goose as well.
Love your love photos. So sweet with Evie and Holle. Great self portrait too, and who says you need cleaner windows you look terrific.
ReplyDeleteImages of the horses and foal are beasutiful. I cured my hate of my image being taken by taking a self-portrait each day.. in a mirror. It worked eventually and now l find it fun!xx
ReplyDeleteI love your love theme. I have a serious aversion to having my photo taken and think you were very brave. I am also amazed at how much ladybird pornography there is about. Obviously they have no shame. And are lovely to boot.
ReplyDelete@ Grey Horse Matters: hmm, I thought it looks like I have weird white spots all over my face. Which, honestly, I don't :-) (Oh, and thank you ;-))
ReplyDelete@ Lynda H.: I can't believe I will ever find it fun to take self-portraits. I bow to you. You're my hero! ;-)
@ The Elephant's Child: Ladybirds are little exhibitionists. And I don't know about other Ladybirds, but these ones were 'at it' a very long time. At one point they fell off the horse jump, but just carried on. Amazing stamina and very determined. LOL
I love the dog's head.....such a gentle eye.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. You as well. I don't know why you're so camera shy!
ReplyDeleteThe expression on the face of the top ladybird is priceless!
