On closer inspection it turned out to be a work of art. With metal sails. I'm guessing it lies on the sandy beach that is created on this side of the lake. It could also be in the water. I didn't have the heart to examine that any further. It's just big enough to seat two persons. Me and Johnny Depp? But where is Captain Jack Sparrow when you need him?
(I have it on good authority he's alive and in France. Perhaps I'll try again this summer ;-))

People going all over the world to find the best views, what's the point, when you have something like this on your doorstep. Mind you, if you live in the USofA, this is not really your doorstep, so you might want to come travelling here.
ReplyDeleteI'll stop now...
That is spooky/eerie and cool! Very ghostly. :)
ReplyDeleteOh to answer your question from today: http://forums.randi.org/archive/index.php/t-1822.html
That's an exquisite photo, Carolina!
ReplyDeleteOh, you romantic, you! Beautiful shot though - very evocative
ReplyDeleteThat's a really nice sculpture, and I love the way your photos came out. Very eerie!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Johnny Depp would be a perfect companion for that boat. Of course, he would be a perfect companion anywhere - I could have done with him, yesterday! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe 'boat' is lovely. We have a boat sculpture at one of the places we walk Sid. It's like a skeleton boat, tilted to one side, with holes in it. Quite attractive, actually.
That makes such a great photo from faraway... it really does look like a tattered sailboat! And the fog makes it so eerie. Well done Carolina!
ReplyDeleteHope you are well and having a good weekend. :)
Thanks for the link! I just noticed! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a really nice sculpture,
