It’s Sunday again. Time for the Sunday Selections, hosted by Kim from Frogpondsrock. They do, you know.
Anyway, if you have tons of photos hanging around in your computer somewhere, waiting for a reason to be shown to the blogging world, hop over to the rocking frog ponds and follow the almost non-existent rules for joining in.
Sorry for not being here last week, but I’ve been busy with all sorts of other things and also the Lyme is playing up, making me extremely tired. So tired, that I have difficulty even talking, let alone translating my words into English *sigh*. It’s an on-and-off thing, the Lyme. Sometimes it’s here, most of the time it isn’t.
This week I’m posting some photos that will hopefully bring a smile to your face. I took them at the first birthday party of three young friends of mine. Cute guys they are. Even though one of them was still recovering from a really bad case of chicken-pox, he still had his happy face on.
These two boys (yes, you’re right, they are twins) are a hilarious double-act.
In full admiration for their sister who is doing the ‘farting-dance’ that comes with lots of butt-wiggling and raspberry blowing sound effects. She’s almost a double-act all by herself.
Ah… young love… (they are not brother and sister, before you think that weird things are normal in the Netherlands)
The cake tasted good!
lol I am giggling away at the farting dance hehe. Small children are the same all over the world. Thank you Carolina for making me smile this morning :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome ;-)
DeleteHow cute! The farting dance looks hilarious, too bad you didn't have the sound to go with it. Hope your Lyme's is feeling better. I know how awful it can be, my daughter had/has a really bad case of it too.
ReplyDeleteThe farting dance was hilarious. I'm sad to say that I didn't pay enough attention, so I can't entertain people with it myself.
DeleteSorry to hear that your daughter also suffered/suffers from Lyme. It seems to stay with you and plays up every now and again. And protocol in the Netherlands says that once you've swallowed the appropriate antibiotics for a month, you're cured. HA!
Just beautiful. Big smiles. And that looked like a really, really nasty case of chicken pox.
ReplyDeleteYeah, poor boy. But he was over the worst and a happy chap ;-)
DeleteNope, sorry, no smile. I just don't think babies are cute. If you want a smile from me, give me something cute and furry - that'll work.
ReplyDeleteDon't Bug Me!!!! You're back!!!! That makes me smile :-)
DeleteLook, I'm with you on the baby-front. Don't particularly like them. But the two guys at the top are just priceless. Really. They have a great sense of humour.
And now I'm off to see if you've posted something.
Love you!
I think about you many times when the dogs dash through the bracken. Odd? Maybe. It's just that the deer bound through the bracken too and they carry ticks and some deer ticks carry Lyme disease. Anyway, I'm sorry you're still affected by it - it's been hanging around a long time, hasn't it?
ReplyDeleteOh well, as long as people think about me... ;-)
DeleteYeah, it's an on-and-off-thing. Happy to say that it's more off than on, but sometimes it plays up and makes me extremely tired. Still, could be worse I guess. Today is a good day :-) Ticks are nasty little buggers, be careful.
I like some children and don't like others, much like grown people. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAll of these children look like great fun to be around, though.
Ah, I remember those spots on the face very clearly, as I only had chickenpox for the first time at age 46. I'm sure it actually bothered this kid a bit less than it did me :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's definitely a case of chicken pox! But he is a cutie, actually, all three of them are!
ReplyDeleteOh how gorgeous and the loving brother and sister are just too cute
ReplyDeleteAren't they cute? I knew it was chicken pox as soon as I saw it, but how strange that one twin should have it and the other be free of it. Or did one just get affected more seriously by it?
ReplyDeleteHi Jay,
DeleteI believe the other one did have a mild case :-) How odd that you instantly recognize chicken pox ;-) I thought early puberty LOL
