In Tandem with Jinksy

 

guerrilla gardeners
came in the night
and transformed the bit of wasteland between our houses
into a colourful delight
of purples, blues and greens
and tufts of white

it brightens up our neighbourhood
even on a darker day
we hear the humming of the bees
and see the children play
now hopefully the council will not regulate
our own Guerrilla Garden of Eden away

The Bloggy Brilliant Jinksy provided us with yet another piece of wonderful artwork for inspiration and this is what I came up with.     I love the idea of Geurilla Gardeners - yours seem to be benign. Mine visit when my back is turned and plant Fireweed, Herb Robert and Dandelions.

    Well... can I remind you of my gardening capacities, demonstrated in Mara's garden? I could hop in the boat and row your way. If only we didn't have all the animals to take care off and the hubs who needs some attention and recovery time. So... only promises I'm afraid. Sorry. But I would if I could ;-)

    Doctor FTSE:
    If Herb Robert is a hunky guy, they could plant him in my garden too ;-) I have plenty of Dandelions and I could live with the pretty Fireweed.

    The guerrilla gardeners will have to get a secretary to manage all their appointments, so many people want/need them to help in their garden. Which would make them less guerrillaish ;-)
